Research poster competition

Are you creating a research poster to be displayed in Research Week?

Would you like to improve your visual research communication skills?

Come along to free GRS workshops!

The Graduate Research School will be holding a workshop in which you can bring your information and make it into a poster. Registration links will be available at the start of August.

Visualising Your Research workshop

Facilitator: Ms Marziya Mohammedali

Mount Lawley B3.208
Date: 9, August 2017
Time: 9:30am to 12:30pm

Joondalup B34.301
Date: 14, August 2017
Time: 9:30am to 12:30pm

Make a poster quick and easy

Marziya will show you how to use canva, it's free, very simple and quick - you can add graphs, text and free photographs.

Another option is to hire a graphic design student or printing company to make the design for you. Students and staff who have took this approach have had great results.

Submit for review

If you require feedback and help before you print your posters, submit to GRS via the research week email address by Monday 4 September. Additionally, with your permission, posters can be added to Research Online to reach a wider audience.

Central competition

There will be prizes for the best posters (more details to come), the winning posters from each School/Discipline will be printed and exhibited in central locations during Research Week and throughout the year.
