The Kurongkurl Katitjin Student Success Scholarship

The Kurongkurl Katitjin Student Success Scholarships are intended to assist Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students with the costs associated with University study life; enabling students to successfully progress and complete their course of study. The Scholarship is valued at $1500 for full-time study (or pro rata for part time study). Students may reapply each Semester. Applications are sought from Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students dealing with financial difficulties.

  • This scholarship is open to individuals who are commencing and current ECU students.
  • This scholarship is not available to VET students.

Eligibility guidelines

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent;
  • be suffering from financial hardship; and
  • be studying a postgraduate or undergraduate course at ECU.

How to apply

Application is made via the ECU Online Scholarship Application Portal. Access to the Portal is available between application opening and closing dates.
