Three can keep a secret book cover
A selection of students, staff and alumni from ECU School of Arts and Humanities were involved in a book launch on Saturday 29 October at the Australian Short Story Festival in Fremantle. Night Parrot Press released its third collection of flash fiction from West Australian writers, titled Three Can Keep a Secret.
The book is an anthology of flash fiction by WA’s established writers and it includes work by some ECU staff members and alumni. Two ECU writing students, Emily Elliott and Asha Butcher, were interns with the publisher for the editorial process on the anthology. ECU students, staff and alumni included:
Laura Keenan and Linda Martin are co-publishers and editors at Night Parrot Press.
Laura was introduced to flash fiction when working as editor at Perseus Books in Colorado.
Linda lectures in editing, writing and publishing at ECU.
They both write and teach flash fiction.
The collection is available to order online through Night Parrot Press, and in store at WA independent bookstores and select chain stores.
