Criminology and Justice

The discipline of Criminology within the School of Arts and Humanities has a strong commitment to research in the area of Criminology and Justice. Research endeavours are multidisciplinary, applied, and seek innovative answers to contemporary real-world problems. Researchers within the discipline have strong connections with police, courts and corrections at the national and international level, and work in collaboration to address the complex ‘wicked’ problems experienced in society. The discipline team is committed to the generation of a strong and vibrant research culture for postgraduate students.
