Dr Céline Doucet

Céline is an Adjunct Lecturer within the School of Arts and Humanities.


Céline Doucet co-ordinates the French Studies at ECU. She is recognized as an international expert in the area of French-language didactics.

Prior to moving to Australia, Céline has taught at the University of Angers and has been engaged in various teaching roles for 20 years in different learning environments in the world.

Her research and her publications are strongly related to learning and teaching a second language, enhancing innovative strategies for French in different contexts as well as the essential transformation of demands into real needs.

In 2016, Céline received a Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching.
