The growth in demand for quality aged care services is a global phenomenon, bringing with it a need for highly skilled and multi-disciplinary teams to provide not only high levels of clinical care but also outstanding customer service, quality of life and dignity for the ageing. These challenges extend to the managers of the world’s modern aged care sector, which is why ECU and the AMA WA have collaborated in the development of this masterclass, designed to give emerging and existing aged care leaders the most up to date insights on contemporary leadership practice and how it applies to running a successful aged care facility.
The course is made up of three modules.
Module 1: Customer service in aged care
Module 2: Management and leadership
Module 3: Managing in a clinical environment
Classes will be delivered via live streamed video lectures with all materials provided to enrolled participants in advance.
There are three modules with each module consisting of two sessions per week with each session being approximately two hours in length. Thus, each module has 12 hours of presented materials and the total course is 36 hours over a total of 9 weeks. The modules run sequentially.
AUD$400 (approximately ¥2,000) per participant*, corporate and group pricing available.
Customised delivery schedules available. Dates to be confirmed.
Each session will rely upon an expert in the specific field. Many of the presenters are senior managers in the aged care industry. These sessions are supplemented by leading staff from ECU and the AMA.
