Networking and fun activities at the School of Business and Law Careers Fair 2021
The Careers Fair returned in 2021, with over 250 students walking through the doors to speak to employers! There were over 12 industry exhibitors offering valuable insights to how students can progress their careers beyond university.
The fair included renowned organisations such as Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, The College of Law, Quest Joondalup, WA Department of Health, Marriot International, Pitcher Partners, KPMG Australia, Australian Taxation Office, PwC Australia, and the Department of Treasury.
Students were also provided with a LinkedIn photo booth to snap professional head shot photos, as well as a Career Passport, where students were encouraged to visit different stalls and to get it stamped. Later, students could put their stamped passports in a box and test their luck in winning a brand new iPad. The lucky draw winner of the iPad giveaway price was announced in the afternoon, and won by accounting student Rachelle Tolentino.
The Careers Fair 2021 was a fantastic opportunity for students to networking with a range of employers, join professional associations and plan for their future career. In case you missed it, you still have the chance to listen to the industry representatives' best career tips on our Career Fair Blackboard page here.
ECU would like to give a warm thank you to all organisational representatives, students, and staff for making the event possible and a big success.
