The first School of Business and Law Higher Degrees by Research Discussion Series was held on April 7. This series gives research students the opportunity to communicate their research to fellow students and research staff.
The meeting commenced with a welcome address from Dr Abhay Singh, followed by a presentation by PhD student Senyo Agbeblewu. Senyo delivered a 20-minute talk on how interactions among the role of parties in a crowdsourcing contest influence participation efforts of solvers.
Those in attendance then had the opportunity to discuss the topic and give feedback.
The aim of the series is for attendants to have a platform to them with the opportunity to improve their presentation skills while communicating their research to fellow researchers.
