Collaborations and opportunities

The Centre for Work + Wellbeing will collaborate with international and national research partners in research studies in each of our four research streams.

We seek further collaboration with industry partners with whom we have undertaken preliminary research in the co-creation of ARC Linkage proposals. We also seek collaboration with our domestic and international research collaborators on research relating to organisational intervention to promote wellbeing and positive mental health.

Research areas where we seek partnership and collaboration include:

  • Studies on organisational responses to COVID-19 restrictions and post-Covid-19 strategies for promoting wellbeing and performance.
  • Quantitative longitudinal or repeat measures studies focused on the impact of organisational-level factors (culture, policy, leadership, support, etc.) on psychosocial risks and employee wellbeing.
  • Quantitative longitudinal or repeat measures studies to examine the impact of major disruptions (economic, social, natural disasters and pandemics) on wellbeing and mental health outcomes.
  • Qualitative projects on psychosocial safety culture, and development of psychosocial safety culture assessment methodologies.
  • Research examining how technological change, new organisational forms and new ways of working impact wellbeing.
  • Studies exploring the impacts of flexible working on the longer-term wellbeing of organisations and employees.
  • The association between psychosocial risk, musculoskeletal disorders and psychological wellbeing in the workplace.
  • Cost-benefit analysis for intervention to enhance employee wellbeing.
  • Research on the development and evaluation of intervention for the prevention of workplace mental health problems and the promotion of employee and organisational wellbeing.
  • Pulse surveys and longitudinal studies relating to diversity and inclusion.
