Mr Krishna Prasad JP is the Director, International in the School of Business and Law.


Krishna is the International Director of the School and represents ECU on numerous professional bodies, international affairs and activities. Krishna has extensive experience in legal, management and academic fields. He is currently pursuing a PhD.

Krishna began his career as a lawyer representing clients in the District and High Courts of India. In 1997, he moved to Perth. Krishna has worked for private law firms, the Western Australian State Government where he drafted the Intellectual Property Guidelines for the West Australian Tertiary and Further Education sector and other tertiary education institutions in a legal, policy and academic capacity.

Krishna joined ECU in 2003 as a Legal and Policy Officer and provided copyright, intellectual property, contract and policy advice to senior management. In 2007, he joined academia and has taught and coordinated undergraduate and post graduate students in Intellectual Property Law, Employment Law, Labour Law, Cyber Law, Trade Practices and Marketing Law, Banking & Credit Law and Legal Environment for e-Commerce.

Krishna is a regular speaker at conferences, industry, public sector and professional association events. Krishna is a Justice of the Peace and a Registered Migration Agent.
