The ECU Study Abroad and Exchange Program offers an enriching international experience that can help you broaden your academic, professional and personal horizons.
Overseas study gives you the opportunity to travel while gaining degree credits, providing opportunities for personal growth and improving employment options. It also looks great on a résumé and may give you a competitive edge in a tight employment market.
Study options vary from 2 weeks to 2 semesters.
As well as Exchange and Study Abroad options, ECU has a range of Study Tours, Internships and Short Programs available for students to take part in.
As in inbound student (coming into ECU), you can apply through your university for admission as an exchange student. To become an ECU exchange student you need to apply through your home institution's International or Exchange Office.
As an outbound student (studying at ECU), there are a number of options available to you to undertake as part of a study tour, student exchange or study abroad program. We have partnerships with about 90 institutions in 35 countries around the world, providing you the opportunity to study for one or two semesters.
