Identifying effective interactions, including language and visual representations, that develop number sense in primary classroom

This school-based project focuses on how a skilled primary teacher uses language and representations in the teaching of fractions to a small group of children. The major methodological tool used is video so that a fine grained analysis can be undertaken. Funding support for this project is provided via the Faculty of Education and Arts Small Grants scheme.
