Latency is a major issue for 5G heterogeneous systems that are likely to support real-time high-speed multimedia applications that have a need for short handover delay as well as high data rate transmission. The goal of this study is to design and investigate new solutions for improving the transmission latency. Moreover, traffic load for the future generation 5G will not remain constant, and it could lead to numerous dropped or blocked calls for the mobility user, which will significantly reduce the QoS (Quality of Service). Hence, the other objective of this study is to design and investigate a load balancing scheme intended for extra balanced load distribution to be capable of maintaining the suitable end-user experience and network performance.
