Dr. Kuranchie is an Adjunct Lecturer in the School of Engineering of Edith Cowan University, Australia and a Lecturer in the Department of Energy and Environmental Engineering of the University of Energy and Natural Resources in Ghana.

Dr Kuranchie graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana. He received his Master’s Degree in Energy and Environmental Engineering from Linkoping University, Sweden in 2011 and his PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering in 2015 from Edith Cowan University, Perth, Western Australia.

He has several years of work experience in the production department of both the mining and the waste management industries as a Metallurgist and an Environmental Expert in Ghana, Sweden and Australia.

He has also worked and collaborated with high profile professionals in the academia as a research and teaching professional and has provided supervision to both research and project students. He has produced several good quality research publications in international reputed journals and conference proceedings in waste management, construction and the sustainable development fields. He has done presentations to several international conferences in USA, Australia and Sweden organised by reputed international institutions such as the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and International Structural Engineering and Construction (ISEC). He has also served as an invited reviewer in the following international Journals; South African Journal of Science, Environmental Development and Cogent Engineering.
