We have three campuses in Western Australia. Joondalup and Mount Lawley in the Perth metropolitan area and our South West campus in Bunbury, 200km south of the Perth CBD.

Australian Indigenous HealthInfoNet: The Australian Indigenous HealthInfoNet makes comprehensive, up-to-date information accessible to people interested in the health of Aboriginal Australians.
Creating cultural empathy and challenging attitudes through Indigenous narratives. This is a set of videos of Aboriginal people from Western Australia providing stories about their engagement with the health system associated with a variety of health conditions including stroke. It also includes a series of vignettes modelling a number of issues related to intercultural communication
Sharing the True stories: Improving communication in Indigenous health care. This website is an archive of the Sharing the True Stories Project which sought to support improved communication between Health staff and Aboriginal clients. The aim of the website is to make relevant information on intercultural communication accessible when and where you need it.
Aboriginal Cultural Orientation program developed by the Western Australian Centre for Rural Health. This is an online resource providing health professionals with an orientation to cultural safety within an Aboriginal context.
Kimberley Indigenous Cognitive Assessment. This is an assessment tool designed for differential diagnosis of dementia. However it provides a good example of a culturally and linguistically appropriate assessment tool, and contains some communication items.
Journey after stroke Indigenous Australian Resource. Developed by the Townsville Rural Stroke Outreach Service (QLD Health), this booklet was designed as a modality for sharing educational material on stroke with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and families.
Ruah Aboriginal Resource Directory (Western Australia) . Developed by Ruah Inc. this directory was produced to support Aboriginal people’s access to services in Perth, WA. Amongst other services, the directory lists aged care and health services and community activities available for Aboriginal people.
The Lowitja Institute. The Lowitja Institute is the national institute for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health research.
Aboriginal Research and Study Protocols developed by Edith Cowan University (ECU) provide a guide for ECU staff and students undertaking research, projects or fieldwork that involve Aboriginal people or knowledge or that impact on Aboriginal people or communities
