Tom is a Unit Coordinator and Lecturer for the Bachelor of Science (Paramedical Science) in the School of Medical and Health Sciences. He is currently researching in the area of ‘Physical requirements of operational paramedics within Australian ambulance services’.

Tom Crehan worked as a full-time Ambulance Paramedic for a state emergency ambulance service. He retains an operational role as an emergency paramedic whilst teaching at ECU.

Research Areas and Interests

Mr Tom Crehan’s research interests are in relation to the physical role of paramedics and the requirements needed to undertake these roles.
