Karen is a Lecturer in Occupational Therapy in the School of Medical and Health Sciences. Her teaching roles include student placement coordinator and also lecturing in Hand Rehabilitation.

Background

Karen has worked as an occupational therapist for over thirty years and has been involved with teaching occupational therapy students for the last ten years.   Karen has worked in teaching hospitals in Perth and Darwin and has also worked within community based private practice settings. Her teaching experiences include a focus upon fieldwork education, hand and upper limb rehabilitation, splinting and kinesiology.
