Lesley is a Lecturer in Public Health within the School of Medical and Health Sciences, she coordinates and teaches units within the Master of Public Health and teaches into the Bachelor of Health Science.

Lesley is research active in both her PhD study into the influences on student academic success and in developing and evaluating systems to support excellence in pedagogy, including online learning, academic literacy support and moderation of assessment.
