Occupational Therapy students explore therapy aides.
Graduates of the Occupational Therapy program in the School of Medical and Health Sciences can choose career pathways in occupational therapy, health and wellness coordination, counselling, risk/safety, neuromuscular therapy, hand therapy, rehabilitation consultancy or vocational rehabilitation. Students have access to leading-edge rehabilitation technology and purpose-built teaching facilities. Some unique features of this program are the clinically-focused teaching and research which includes clinical placements in every year and student-led clinics. Class sizes promote optimal learning and a richer learning experience.
Beginning in the first year, students have opportunity to participate in clinical placements throughout the program that are directly related to theoretical learning.
