ECU Research Week 2017 runs from 18 – 23 September 2017.
This year, ECU Research Week invites you to find out more about how you can link with research partners, industry and the broader community. Discover how ECU research staff and students are addressing some of the world’s most pressing social, political, economic and environmental issues, with a week packed with activities including interactive sessions, poster displays, presentations and networking events.
Some highlights from the week include:
Connect with the Big Picture at the Research Week launch and network with staff, students, alumni, collaborators and partners and come along to the Stories of the Sky with our Elder-in-residence Dr Noel Nannup, as he weaves together indigenous and modern knowledge about astronomy.
Learn what the modern media phenomenon of ‘Fake News’ means with an expert panel of local media practitioners and academics.
Hear from leading expert Professor Andrew Whitehouse from the Telethon Institute about the new frontiers in our understanding of Autism, and how current research projects are focusing on making Bunbury the most accessible regional city in Australia.
