What is your opinion on smart home technology to assist with ageing at home?

You are invited to take part in a research study exploring older adults (65 years or older) and family members/carer’s perceptions of smart home technology, to assist ageing within one’s own home.

The study will involve a 30-minute interview, during which you will be asked questions about readiness to adopt smart home technology, advantages, disadvantages and concerns regarding smart home technology.

Are you eligible?

  • Are you 65 years or older OR a family member/carer of someone 65 years or older?
  • Do you live within your own home? (i.e. No hospice care or aged care facilities)
  • All cultural groups are welcome, translators can be arranged
  • Can provide informed consent
