Students working together in the i-Ops session, collecting and analysing information.
ECU’s School of Science hosts an ‘intelligence operation’ session for students of year 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12. Intelligence is the collection and analysis of information at the international, national or local level to inform decision makers as they work to secure a country’s government, military, business, political, industrial, economic, and/ or environmental interests. Counter-intelligence is the protection of this sensitive information.
ECU Security Intelligence lecturers and students have developed engaging half day session for high school students. They will collect and analyse different forms of information, use intuition and creativity to develop intelligence assessments that reveal the capabilities of our suspect group.
