ECU attends SkillsWest Expo

Tuesday, 05 September 2017

Skills West Expo is Western Australia's leading, largest and most attended careers event that enables visitors to explore tertiary and VET course options, find traineeships, apprenticeships and plan new career pathways. ECU was invited to exhibit in their Interactive Area, and Master of Science student Candice Le Roux presented to the attendees on her research.

The Expo was mostly attended by high school students, and they were full of questions for Candice about her research and career pathway. They were also fascinated by the now famous story of Carnaby’s cockatoos nesting on ECU’s Joondalup campus.

This event was just one of many events ECU was part of for National Science Week.
