Over 2,400 Year 12 students attended the free ATAR revision sessions last week at ECU Joondalup and Bunbury campuses.
Every year, ECU hosts a week of free four-hour revision sessions. This year the School of Science organised this substantial event for a variety of ATAR science subjects, and English, presented by highly experienced high school teachers with extensive ATAR course knowledge and teaching experience. These sessions also give ECU the opportunity to showcase our beautiful campuses while alleviating some of the stress that comes with Year 12 Exams.
New for 2018, following feedback from our visiting 2017 Year 12 students, was the introduction of Math Methods. Our 2018 program, in addition to Math Methods at our Joondalup campus included: Chemistry, Human Biology, Biology, Math Applications, Math Specialist, Physics and English. At our South West Campus, Students took advantage of sessions in Math Methods, Math Applications, Chemistry, Physics, Human Biology, Biology and English.
Verbal feedback have been overwhelmingly positive from both students and teachers.
ECU is committed to running this sessions for 2019, which will take place in the first week of the Term 3 holidays. Following the success of the 2018 sessions, students will need to book early to confirm their place. We encourage students and parents to keep an eye on our website for when registrations open in 2019.
