VC Prof Steve Chapman delivers a Chemistry lecture.
On the 5th of March, Professor Steve Chapman surprised first year chemistry students by delivering a lecture on Atomic Structure, Electron Configuration and Periodic Table, instead of their regular lecturer, Dr Magdalena Wajrak.
Professor Chapman enjoys lecturing and he was keen to once again stand in front of chemistry students. He was definitely in his ‘element’ as he passionately spoke to students about the history of the Periodic Table and atomic structure. He had the students gasping with amazement when he performed magic tricks and kept them focused with interesting analogies and of course chemical jokes
