Miss Nicole Said

Nicole is a Research Assistant with the Centre for Marine Ecosystems Research, School of Science supporting research on a two year project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

Project link: Conserving critical seagrass habitat for dugong: an integrated assessment across the Pilbara

Background

Nicole completed her Master of Science at ECU in Marine and Freshwater Biology with a focus on temperature and latitude effects on seagrass. She also completed her undergraduate at ECU majoring in Marine and Freshwater Biology. In 2017 Nicole attended and presented at the Association for the Sciences of Limnology and Oceanography Aquatic Sciences Meeting and also at the Research Symposium hosted by the Centre for Marine Ecosystems Research on the resilience of northern Australian seagrasses to dredging.
