Project management is now a core activity in most organisations and is being increasingly used in the delivery of corporate strategy. Project management skills can be applied in almost any industry across a range of projects, including developing a new product or service, implementing a change in structure, staffing or style of an organisation.
Many projects fail due to a lack of discipline around the project and the lack of a systematic approach to planning and monitoring execution. Project timelines are often jeopardised due to poor requirements, unclear definitions or a lack of timely accurate information during project execution. Understanding the discipline of project management and applying a formal approach to managing a project will facilitate an efficient approach to its execution and successful and timely outcome.
This three-day intensive professional development program will immerse you in the discipline of project management. You will examine the processes, resources and techniques required to effectively manage scope, project stakeholders, and communications.
This 3-day intensive professional development program provides you with a working understanding of how successful project management is applied from the outset of an activity. You may already be a project manager or your role may have evolved to include such responsibilities but you have never received formal training. Arm yourself with knowledge that will change the way you approach your next project so that your professional reputation remains undamaged and you meet or exceed your stakeholder’s expectations.
Professional Development
Participants will receive a Certificate of Participation at the successful completion of the program.
