Social Media Policy for Business

This one-day course will give participants an insight into effective management of their brands on social media. The course specifically looks at social media policy from the marketing, public relations, human resources and legal perspectives.

Why this course is for you

Social media is forever changing and so is the legal landscape, with some governments now looking at galvanizing laws and regulations in this space. Companies feel they lag behind in knowing how to effectively manage their social media presence, specifically, how to ‘control’ content about their brand which is generated by their staff, contractors, subcontractors and other stakeholders.

Course overview

The course is targeted towards any business owner, brand or marketing professional, who wishes to gain greater knowledge on how to manage their brand and reputation online, specifically, what to do to manage social media activity by their staff, contractors and subcontractors, as well as other stakeholders.

About the Facilitator

Dr Helen Cripps is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Business and Law. Helen is a member of the School’s Centre for Innovative Practice and has extensive industry and government experience covering relationship marketing, economic analysis, community partnerships and event management.
