Using augmented reality in your classroom

This course provides an introductory background to augmented reality (AR) technologies and the development of AR learning experiences using an editing tool developed here at ECU. Participants will have the opportunity to design an AR experience targeted to their area of teaching.

The course includes:

  • Understanding the capabilities and limitations of current AR technology.
  • Using AR tools to design a classroom-ready learning experience.
  • Implementing and evaluating this classroom-ready AR learning experience.

Note: This 6-hour course is delivered in blended mode. This means some on-campus attendance (Joondalup), as well as online work is required.
