Safety Leadership

Over the last 3 years, one of our academics has worked with the WA Government to design a training program called ‘Injury Risk Management’ and to assist industry implement the new legislation.

Injury Risk Management is a short course designed for employees and their safety representatives, safety professionals, and leadership teams.

You will be trained to deliver this program so you can deliver it to your employees or clients.

Why this program is for you

If you’re a trainer or safety professional responsible for ensuring compliance to the new WA legislation.  The course provides learning materials and tools you will be able to use in the workplace, as soon as you finish the course.

As a consultant or training organisation, this change in legislation offers you an opportunity to provide a service to your clients to assist them comply and protect their workers.  Once you complete the course you will be able to develop a pipeline of clients into your existing training programs.

What happens after the course?

If you’re interested, you might consider studying one of our Graduate Certificate courses or other higher degree programs in safety and leadership. You can apply for entry to a Graduate Certificate if you have with 5 years of relevant industry experience. Explore Medical and Health Sciences courses.
