Description

This unit is undertaken by students who have previously undertaken a project preparation unit. In this unit students will work in a team to implement a deploy and document a large scale project. Student groups will work with a staff member with appropriate expertise to supervise their project as well as an industry client where applicable. This unit must be studied in conjunction with CSI6222 Project 2.

Prerequisite Rule

Students must pass 1 units from CSG6207, CSI6220

Equivalent Rule

Unit was previously coded CSI5251

Learning Outcomes

On completion of this unit students should be able to:

  1. Apply previously selected methodology and techniques to implement the solution of the problem.
  2. Demonstrate the implementation and delivery of a large scale project.
  3. Evaluate and report the outcomes of the project or research to a high level of detail.

Unit Content

  1. Evaluation and discussion of project outcomes.
  2. Implementation of strategies and techniques appropriate to the project.
  3. Presentation of a progress report or equivalent project materials.
  4. Review of the relevant literature.
