This major aims to develop imaginative and innovative screen producers for a world immersed in screen culture. Embracing a collaborative, mentored approach, this major offers units in production, theory and writing for screen. The major provides opportunities for developing creative expression, vocational skills and a critical appreciation of screen culture and technologies. It trains students to think critically, to work collaboratively, and to develop a portfolio of their own work. Exceptional graduates will be encouraged to apply for the School's honours program or the prestigious Master of Screen Studies at the WA Screen Academy.
