Supply Chain and Logistics Management Specialisation

This specialisation provides students with the opportunity to add specialist supply chain, logistics, transportation, distribution, operations and production management skills to those acquired from their degree. Students learn how to apply the principles and practice of strategic and operational supply chain and logistics management in an increasingly challenging global economy. It is designed to develop the competencies required for effective decision-making in contemporary supply chain and logistics management environments.

Learning Outcomes

  1. Demonstrate effective communication and teamwork skills appropriate to supply chain and logistics management maintaining respect for culturally diverse working teams.
  2. Demonstrate mastery of a global body of knowledge and practice in supply chain and logistics management, including knowledge of research principles and methods.
  3. Independently initiate, plan and execute a substantial project to meet agreed deliverables.

Membership

Students can apply for membership with Chartered Institute Logistics and Transport Australia (CILTA). Graduates are eligible for membership with Chartered Institute Logistics and Transport Australia (CILTA). Graduates in an MBA/MBAI Course with a Supply Chain and Logistics Management specialisation qualify to apply for membership with the Chartered Institute Logistics and Transport Australia (CILTA). They will also meet the academic requirements for professional membership.
