About this Minor

Provides students with an understanding of the use and problems associated with alcohol, tobacco and other psychoactive drugs.

In this minor, students investigate fundamental concepts about psychoactive drug use and drug users, the nature of addiction and dependency, and behaviour change. Australian and international approaches to drug policy, intervention initiatives and evidence-based approaches to reducing harm are also covered.
