About this VET Stream

Music Production is a contexutalisation of the VET Creation and Composition specialisation.

This study option is structured to prepare students for a range of careers through an authentic learning environment with an emphasis on developing composition and DAW production skills. Students are delivered weekly classes including composition workshop, audio skills, aural development, theory, music technology, music history, and performance practice. Students will have access to workshops and performances by leading visiting artists, as well as to WAAPA's recording and production spaces. Students learn in a multi-disciplinary academy and have access to hundreds of outstanding performances across all art forms over the course of the year.
