About this Specialisation

Provides an opportunity for motivated and academically capable primary and secondary teachers to re-engage in a learning area of great demand.

This unit-set emphasises both the Australian Curriculum content for mathematics and best teaching practice for late primary and lower secondary students in Australian schools is a strong and consistent theme across all units. It also provides a refresher and a consolidation of content skills up to and including Year 10 mathematics, and closely examines the learning needs of students in mathematics as they transition from primary to secondary school.

Special entry requirements

All applicants are required to demonstrate a satisfactory achievement in ATAR Maths Applications, or the equivalent (including Maths WACE 2A/2B).
