Dr Prashant Bharadwaj is a Post Doctoral Research Fellow focusing on neurodegenerative diseases who leads research into Childhood Dementia at ECU and Alzheimer's Research Australia in Western Australia. He also supervises students at ECU.

The centre is urging the WA community to support NeuroHub WA, an online health platform for over one million Western Australians with neurological conditions, giving them quick access to simple and easy-to-understand information, as well as highlighting the latest research.

I'm now a senior occupational therapist in the burns unit at the Perth Children's Hospital
I work with an incredible team of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and a social worker. We work with children who have been admitted to hospital (inpatients) and children who require ongoing care in the clinic (outpatients).

A work placement was one of the best learning experiences I have had.
Taking a work placement as part of my course was probably one of the best learning experiences I have had so far. I have now completed 200 hours of work experience related to my studies and this has provided me with the necessary knowledge, skills, and personal characteristics that employers seek, like time management, teamwork and communication skills.
