Description

This unit examines the governance and operations of venues, spaces and places employed by the arts and creative industries, and details the roles and functions of key personnel. It also investigates diverse audience development strategies, with a particular focus on the provision of services to diverse audiences. Students apply their knowledge and skills in a practicum in partnership with industry.

  8. Venue accessibility, safety, security and compliance.
  9. Venue programming and presentation.
  10. Audience development strategies.
  11. Production requirements for touring.

Learning Experience

MIXED MODE

On-campus attendance at scheduled classes in designated weeks is expected, intermitted with periods of online learning.
