This unit serves as the summative assessment milestone for the first stage of the aviation management program. It is designed to evaluate the integration and application of core concepts explored across the introductory units, i.e. AVN6000 (Aviation Organisations and Regulations), AVN6001 (Aviation Safety Management Systems), and AVN6002 (Sustainable Aviation and Environmental Planning). Students will demonstrate their consolidated understanding through a composite portfolio that synthesises learning from across the curriculum. The assessment focuses on the student's ability to apply foundational aviation principles to real-world scenarios, ensuring they meet the required Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs) at a consolidated level before progressing to more advanced master-level coursework.
Students are required to complete AVN6000, AVN6001 and AVN6002 concurrently or prior to completing the assessment unit AVN6003.
