Description

In this unit, students will work in groups, under academic supervision, to develop a project proposal; undertake a background study; implement and document the developed solution or research outcome; and present to relevant stakeholders.

Learning Outcomes

On completion of this unit students should be able to:

  1. Plan a project with stakeholders and define the scope.
  2. Communicate project goals, risks and benefits to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  3. Implement an industry-relevant project.
  4. Critically reflect and communicate the outcomes of a project to stakeholders.

  2. Review of relevant background materials/resources.
  3. Presentation and evaluation of progress reports.
  4. Managing project milestones.
  5. Managing scope change.
  6. Documenting project outcomes.
