In this unit, students will gain expertise in advanced multivariate statistical techniques and their diverse applications across health, biological, environmental and data science domains. The unit covers a comprehensive range of multivariate methods including dimensional reduction, clustering, classification, and structural equation modeling techniques for psychometric data analysis. Students will develop practical skills in implementing these methods using industry-standard statistical software, preparing them for real-world data analysis challenges in both industry and research settings. Emphasis is placed on appropriate method selection, implementation, and interpretation of results within the context of real-world problems.
