Description

This unit explores the impact of culture on health and wellbeing, with a focus on cultural awareness, safety, and inclusive, person-centred care. Students examine communication strategies and frameworks that support respectful practice, particularly in relation to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The unit promotes consideration of the impact of cultural beliefs on health behaviours and health outcomes, as well as the response of global health systems to disparities and emerging challenges.   • Completing your own work, without copying from others or asking other people to do your work for you;
  • Referencing your sources of information accurately;
