This unit is the penultimate in a sequence of four units that provides an opportunity for students to undertake an independent project in the creative and/or performing arts. The independent project may be a theoretical or historical study, or a creative project. Under the supervision of staff, students will continue to develop their independent project, building on lessons learned or knowledge gained in the project’s earlier stages. Students will re-evaluate their project’s measurable outcomes to determine the success of this stage of their project. Students will deepen their practice of working autonomously to further develop their analytical, creative and technical skills in the service of an independent project.
This unit will require students to undertake independent research, which may include creative practice. This will involve the securing of rehearsal space and working on and off campus outside of standard teaching hours.
On completion of this unit students should be able to:
