The Politics and International Relations major provides students with an understanding of political structures, power relations, governance frameworks, and key political ideologies. It begins with the Australian system before introducing students to global political systems and international relations, and then to major ideologies shaping nation states. The final three units investigate contemporary challenges to these governance structures and their philosophical foundations.
This unit set information may be updated and amended immediately prior to semester. To ensure you have the correct outline, please check it again at the beginning of semester. In particular please check the unit and unit set offerings, as these differ according to course delivery location.
