Sociology Major

Sociology equips graduates to understand how societies are organised and to analyse complex social issues, preparing them for employment requiring advanced social understanding and analytic skills. The sequence of units provides the building blocks of sociological research and analysis in Year 1, followed by units that apply sociological methods to specific issues, including race, gender, sexuality, and age.
