Nursing students Hannah Humphries, Jacinta Walton and Shania Kickett will each receive $20,000 to support their learning over two years, while Larissa Collard will receive $10,000.
Enrolled nurse Hannah Humphries said the scholarship will help her take her next step in her career.
"As a proud Aboriginal woman, receiving this scholarship is a tremendous honour," Hannah said.
"This scholarship will be life-changing for my university studies. It will significantly alleviate the financial burden, allowing me to focus wholeheartedly on my registered nurse coursework without the constant worry of financial constraints."
Larissa Collard said she was beyond grateful to receive the scholarship.
"I felt so lucky and was filled with relief because of the financial support this can provide me," Larissa said.
"I can afford to buy new nursing equipment and uniform and be financially secure throughout my 6-week placement in which I can’t work.
"I wanted to pursue a nursing career since I was a teenager. I have a passion for caring and helping others and love science and learning about the anatomy and physiology of the human body."
The scholarship is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students undertaking an eligible health sciences degree at ECU.
