Edith Cowan University's (ECU) preeminent night of nights will hit a new octave with singing extraordinaire Amy Manford gracing the stage as the headline performer at this year's alumni awards celebration: Aluminate.
The internationally renowned soprano and Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) music star knows only too well what it takes to be an Aluminate winner, having taken home the Young Alumni Award in 2024.
Whether performing to royalty at Buckingham Palace, singing the national anthem at the AFL Grand Final, or playing the coveted lead of Christine DaaƩ in Phantom of the Opera on London's West End for two years, Amy's repertoire is an outstanding inspiration to the Western Australian community.

Amy is the co-founder of highly successful production company MM Creative Productions, which brought Disney 100: The Concert to Australian soil and toured around the world. Most recently, Amy partnered with tenor Andrea Bocelli in a multi-city USA tour that opened at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
Audience members can also catch the immensely talented, young multi-instrumentalist and fellow WAAPA alum Charlie Youngson on stage, as he performs Petrichor: an acoustic guitar instrumental.

Tickets for a difference
The sparkling occasion will be held on 30 October 2025 at The Westin Perth. With a high calibre of awardees and dazzling entertainment, the event is set to inspire and be a night to remember.
Tickets are available to purchase for anyone wishing to attend. Proceeds will support ECU's Inspiring Minds Scholarships, helping students in need achieve their academic dreams.
Celebrating a night of stars
Award-winning television journalist and ECU broadcasting and communications alumna Cassie Silver will MC the evening. Last year, Cassie's community impact was recognised at the 40under40 Awards WA Business News Awards.
Through her own production company Silver Lining + Co, the media and communications professional was named 40under40 winner of the Community, Social Enterprise or Not For Profit category for her dedication to supporting and connecting people experiencing trouble conceiving through the creation of Fiercely Infertile.
Born out of the need to establish a podcast to support those navigating infertility, Cassie's podcast: What To Expect When You're Injecting offers a lifeline to many during heartbreaking, challenging times. The devoted community she grew has evolved into a social enterprise with events, a website, blog, coaching support, and partnerships with five fertility clinics.
A natural-born storyteller, Cassie is a shining example of using education and talent to make a difference. Hear more about Cassie's achievements on the ECU Alumni Follow the Leader podcast.
