Open Day Frequently Asked Questions

  • Open Day is your opportunity to visit campus and experience what studying at ECU could be like. You can explore the campus, attend information sessions, meet academics, staff and current students, and get your questions answered about courses, pathways and student life. The day is designed to help you explore your study options and understand what to expect as a student at ECU.

  • Plan ahead using the online Open Day Planner to save the sessions and activities you're interested in. The planner will be available closer to the event date, and if you register for Open Day, we'll notify you when it's ready. On the day, attend course and information sessions, explore the campus, and speak with academics, staff and current students to get the answers you need. There are activities and tours running throughout the day, so you can personalise your visit around what matters most to you.

    If you're still deciding on a course, each school offers a range of sessions covering different study areas. If you're ready to apply, visit the application station to start your ECU application on the day.

  • Registration isn't required, but we recommend it. Registering allows you to build a personalised Open Day plan by saving sessions and activities, helping you manage your time on campus and make the most of the day.

    Plus, when you register and scan your QR code on the day, you'll go into the draw to win great prizes!

  • Yes, absolutely! Family and friends are welcome to attend Open Day.
