Environmental Management Specialisation

This specialisation is to form part of the Master of Business Administration. The specialisation develops student knowledge and skills in environmental management and provides an understanding of some of the key evaluation and reporting tools used in contemporary environmental practice. Graduates of the MBA with the Environmental Management specialisation can broaden their employment opportunities into the environmental, resources and primary industry sectors.

  1. Apply cognitive, technical and creative skills to identify, predict and evaluate complex ideas, concepts and theories in an authentic environmental management situation.
  2. Apply communication skills to a design meaningful contribution for environmental management stakeholders.
  3. Reflect critically on a complex body of knowledge to demonstrate a contextual understanding of elements of environmental management.
  4. Use high level self-management skills to initiate, plan and execute substantial work.
