Screen stories are a powerful mode of storytelling that combines moving images, sound, music, lighting, editing and effects to create deeply emotive and transformative experiences for audiences. In the Master of Screen Production, students learn to harness established and emerging tools and techniques of screen storytelling to create powerful stories capable of changing and challenging audiences preconceived ideas, enhancing human understanding and compassion, and bringing awareness to social justice issues. In an age where we can take our screens wherever we go and access screen stories wherever we want, the demand for people who can thoughtfully produce high quality, ethical works for screens in a range of formats is greater than ever before. Working on two Major Screen Projects and with opportunities for Internships in the Screen Industry, the Master of Screen Production will equip graduates with the knowledge and skills they need to gain employment in the screen industry (and beyond) and make meaningful and positive contributions to society using the knowledge and techniques of screen production.
